Bamboozle Web Services Opens Second UAE Cloud Region in Fujairah

The new Fujairah FJ1 region gives customers in the UAE a geographically separate cloud site for redundancy, disaster recovery, and lower-latency access to international subsea cable infrastructure.

Bamboozle Web Services today announced the opening of its Fujairah cloud region (FJ1), the company's second site in the United Arab Emirates and its third region globally alongside Dubai DX1 and Vienna VIE2. The new region brings Bamboozle's full cloud platform — compute, storage, networking, and managed services — to a strategically distinct location on the UAE's eastern coastline.

Fujairah's significance in regional connectivity is well established. The emirate is home to one of the highest concentrations of subsea cable landing stations in the world, providing direct, low-latency paths to Asia, East Africa, and Europe. Customers running latency-sensitive workloads that communicate internationally will benefit from the region's proximity to this cable infrastructure.

For existing Dubai-based customers, FJH1 provides a geographically separate failover site within the same country. The two UAE regions are connected via Bamboozle's private backbone, allowing workloads and data to be replicated or failed over between them without traversing the public internet. This makes FJH1 a natural anchor for disaster recovery configurations and active-active deployments across the Emirates.

The full Bamboozle Cloud Engine stack is available in FJ1 from day one, including Cloud, Virtual Private Cloud, Backup Storage, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Site-to-Site VPN, and Kubernetes. All services launched in Dubai are available in Fujairah at the same pricing.
